The bathroom is everything. Everyone wants a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and double sinks. They want somewhere where they can unwind after a long day. So, when you are trying to decide how to increase your home’s value before you sell, the master bathroom is an excellent place to start.
Refresh the lighting
Take a look at your light fixtures, how do they look? If they look like they should belong in the 1990s, it’s probably time for them to go. Swap out the old ones for something functional and pretty.
Add double sinks
If your master only has one sink, you could greatly benefit from adding another. You won’t have to be in each other’s way all the time, and it is an attractive selling point to future buyers. When you do add a sink, make sure that they are about 60 inches apart so that you aren’t bumping elbows, as you get ready.
Believe it or not, but a good clean can help your bathroom look fresh, and well, clean. No one wants to look at or live in a dirty bathroom, so this weekend take a sponge and some gloves and knock it out.
Clean the floor
If you already have tile, it is a good idea to clean the grout on the floor. If you still have the laminate flooring that came with the house, update it with a cool, neutral tone and pattern tile to bring the room back to life.
When you’re done
When it comes down to it, you want the entire home to be updated, fresh and clean. No matter if you are prepping your home to sell or want to give your home a facelift, these bathroom ideas will give your home that new look. If it is time to sell your house, give me a call, and we can begin the process!
